The biggest stars today have almost all been dropped by their record label on their first record contract, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Katy Perry. Katie Perry even had a gospel album under her real name Katie Hudson. Becoming a star is a LONG road. People that make it are the ones that try the hardest and the longest, talent is not the most important thing. SYK's take: the only way to get famous quick is American Idol. But look at that, now the winners of that show are not guaranteed stardom anymore.
